Ugh…I had SO much fun with this session. Peyton was the youngest baby I have ever photographed (4 days!)….and might be the baby with the most roles

June 17, 2010 - 11:42 am - Beautiful Lexie, I started working on one for a sample and didn't end up finishing it. It's great to see a finished product from another photographer, and not just an example online! Did you think it was fairly easy to put together? Looks GREAT!
Emberlyn 5 days old….{Newborn Photographer}
Emberlyn was a feisty 5 day old little girl. Our session was 4.5 hours long! I am so glad that her mom and I were patient because after 4 hours we got some awesome prop shots that are some of my favorite from the shoot. enjoy!

OK so I have been horrible at blogging this month! I don’t know why but it might have to do with not having a lot of time….I have been busy working at Target my yoga studio and taking tons of pictures. So I have decided that I am going to blog 2 times a week….that is my summer goal. To all of you who have been checking my blog this month thanks for your loyalty!
Mother’s Day Contest Winner!
So when I announced this contest I had no clue how hard it would be to pick a mom. Every mom is deserving of the win…so to try to make it easier I rounded up two amazing moms (my mom and sister) to help. After reading through all the applicants we decided the best way to do it was to pick a number.

George and Charlie
I love this family! I have been photographing Charlie for 4 years now. I can’t believe how old he is getting….I took George’s newborn shots….it was so much fun to see him now at the age of 6 months. The whole time we were taking pictures at my studio his eyes were glued to Charlies. He is just in love with him. They are such great brothers and make each other smile.
The Hodgson Family….
The Hodgson Family is such a sweet family….I took pictures of Jack’s 1st year and they added Grant to their family over a month ago. Six days after giving birth Jess found out some life changing news….she went to the hospital because she was having trouble breathing….hours later she was admitted to the hospital and was told she has cancer….
My mom is a cancer survivor and instantly could relate to what her and her family were going through….since time goes so fast and in times like this can become a blur I felt so fortunate to document this hour with the family.
